I have been worshiping at Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cokato, MN and/or another Christian church on a regular basis for several months (including during the months immediately preceding this request for membership) and now want to become a confirmed, voting member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cokato, Minnesota. I understand that as a confirmed voting member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cokato, I will be expected to make a public affirmation of faith and - A) make regular use of the means of grace, both Word and sacraments and B) live a Christian life in accordance with the Word of God and the teachings of the Lutheran church and C) support the work of this congregation, synod, and the churchwide organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America through contributions of time, abilities, and financial support as a biblical steward (from the constitution of the congregation, C8.04).
